  1. The start of Mojebus redesign

    It has been a year since I started thinking about redesigning my website. Finally I have started. I am going to try to do the redesign publicly as I can without having my site out of service. I have a few goals for the redesign.

    1. Evolve the current design. Instead of starting fresh, I am going to use the current design as the starting point. It will be a self test for myself to see how to improve upon the flaws of this design.
    2. Improve the navigation. Since the site grew rather organically, the navigation never really kept up with it.
    3. Push web design layout. When I did the current layout, I was trying to pushing the current thinking for web design and I see no reason to stop.
    4. Switch to Druapl from WordPress. I want to learn Drupal because I like to learn new things and it gives me a better understanding of systems more of them I know. I have nothing against WordPress and I still recommend it. This website was my very first WordPress website and now it will also be my first Drupal website from start to finish.
    5. Change the spelling from Mo Jebus to Mojebus.

  2. Now I am excited

    I am a dork for getting so excited after reading a short blog post from David Baron. A bunch of nice selectors have been landed in the branch of Mozilla. They are :nth-child(), :nth-last-child(), :nth-of-type(), :nth-last-of-type() :first-of-type, :last-of-type, and :only-of-type.

  3. Oops iMovie

    I use iMovie maybe every two months. Much to my surprise, I discovered for the past nine months I have been using the older version of iMovies. This is because I use Quicksilver to launch it and I thought the new version was actually an older version.

  4. QVC Loads Your Dell Computer With Expensive Open-Source Software

    Tonight I watched a bit of the QVC Dell Computer sales pitch. Part of the pitch was the expensive software which comes pre-installed. I noticed the following Open Office 2.0, Sunbird Calendar, and Thunderbird Email.
